I won't miss seeing pics of him in the background at training jumping on someone's back with a big silly grin and his tongue stuck out.
Good riddance to the cunt.

I’d say selling this cunt and masuaku will probably earn us more points than any player we sign this season. Two truly awful players yes they both had good games but not very often more so in masuaku but with regards to diop for every Lyon performance there are usually 5/6 games with glaring errors If they stay up and we get 20mill for this donkey this will be the best bit of business we’ve done this year

All players find their level eventually.
Had all the attributes to be a top player but I do think he lacks passion and a bit of back bone. Being so big but not having any spice to put it about has knocked his confidence and restricted his ability to learn and develop.
He's not a PL standard player for me. Championship at a push.

⚒️ 2:06 Mon Aug 8 Re: Diop We could’ve had Shane Duffy a couple of years ago, but Moyes didn’t like his behaviour at the training ground when he came for his medical.
I love that you’ve invented this entire story to try & cover your lies. So weird.

Btw, even if we have the money, there’s no way we’re going to make five or six signings before the window closes.
We take too long and are too indecisive. Look where we are after an entire summer of missing our key targets - and the season is up and running now.

Another player who delivered far less than he promised.
Had a couple of games in Europe last season where he got closer to matching his potential. But generally speaking he was bang average or (often) worse.
I’d bite Fulham’s hands off for £17m. Means we almost got our money back.

Shouldn’t have played again after Kidderminster.
Losing both Diop and Masuaku should save us about 8 goals a season.
Only 6ft defender who can’t head the ball.

Looked a good prospect at first but his deteriorated to a point last season when to describe his form as DIABOLICAL would be being generous. Was unselectable at one point though when he came back later in the season he lifted his level to MEDIOCRE A mystery what happened to him but as said for a big guy he couldnt win a header to save his life.
One out .... need about 5 in now 7 if they shift Vlasic & Benrahma

When he first come in next to Balbuena it was ‘the beast’ and ‘the general’ the latter got injured and he turned into nervous Nerys….

What treatment by the club? Paying him a ridiculous amount of moment that his talent didn't come close to matching up to?
What a weird statement.

Re: Diop

Good luck to him. A confidence player who had his confidence undermined by being played out of position then judged on those performances. Was he good enough? alongside Balbuena raw but promising. Subsequently didn't develop as expected, his treatment by the club can't have helped.

Its a bit disappointing that Diop has not developed as a player beyond his first season.
Is it Coaching or the player or both. But considering how immense he looked at times in his debut season its fucking annoying

Re: Diop

Don’t blame him, good player but largely been 4th or 5th choice of late if everyone fit.
Went through a spell of horrible confidence last season but actually did alright in games once through that to then dip again.
Very error prone and lacks concentration, no doubt he has talent but probably needs more playing time.
I wish him well when not playing against us and to sell him for not much less than we paid with only a year left on his deal is decent business.
He probably showed Cornet round as they are both French speaking and reportedly mates.
Good luck Issa.

Re: Diop

Personally I don't think Diop was quite good enough. Too much of a ball watcher "but" he is young and could learn and improve,. My concern though is how Moyes possibly seems to judge players on their performances when playing out of position. Diop is right footed but Moyes generally played him on the left, out of necessity to be fair, but you can't judge if he generally is a right sided centre back and if he is then he isn't getting in ahead of Zouma.

Thought he lacked bravery. Burnley had the measure of him a couple of years ago they just stood the ball over his head and let Woods/ Westwood steam in and win the ball.
